Alturas Law Associates LLP offers internship programs for law students seeking practical experience in a legal environment. Interns will work under the supervision of experienced attorneys and assist with legal research, drafting, and case preparation. This program is designed to provide insight into real-world legal practice across various practice areas. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to legal ethics. Internships are offered on a rolling basis, subject to availability and departmental needs. Both part-time and full-time positions may be available, depending on academic schedules. All applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited law program. A formal internship agreement will be required upon selection. This is a non-binding invitation and does not constitute an offer of employment. Successful completion of the internship does not guarantee future employment.

Internship Opportunity
Our firm offers a structured Legal Internship Program designed to provide law students with practical exposure to professional legal practice. Interns work closely with our partners, associates, and senior advocates on live cases and transactions. The program covers legal research, drafting of petitions and agreements, case law analysis, and preparation of legal opinions. Interns also gain exposure to civil, criminal, corporate, and constitutional matters, along with opportunities to observe court proceedings, arbitration hearings, and client conferences.
The program emphasizes the development of legal writing, analytical thinking, advocacy skills, and professional ethics. Regular mentorship and review sessions ensure continuous learning and growth. Interns may also contribute to the firm’s publications and knowledge papers. Special training sessions and discussions on current legal issues are organized to enhance knowledge and awareness.
At the end of the program, every intern will receive a Certificate of Internship, and outstanding performers may be considered for extended or long-term opportunities with the firm. This program is an excellent opportunity for law students to build confidence, gain professionalism, and acquire practical experience that will help shape a successful legal career
Eligibility & Selection
- Students who have completed at least two years of the 5 year Law programme.
- Students of the 2nd and final year of the 3 year LL.B programme.
- Students who have appeared in their final year of law examination and waiting for their results.
- Students of LL.M. programme, and International students studying in an overseas law school.
Pre-Joining Formality
To be eligible for Internship Program, interested persons are required to send their resumes and a covering letter to the firm or can send emails at contact@alturaslaw.in You may apply between 45 to 30 days in advance from the date of commencement of internship.

Post-Internship Formalities
On completion of the internship, each intern shall submit a written report (minimum two pages) detailing the nature of work undertaken and the knowledge acquired.
Every intern shall be required to deliver a presentation before the designated panel, outlining their internship experience and learnings.
In addition to the above, interns may, at their discretion, submit an academic paper on any legal issue encountered during the course of their internship.
All interns are required to duly complete and submit the Internship Finalization Form as a mandatory condition.
The Internship Certificate shall be issued by the firm only upon fulfillment of the aforesaid requirements
